HVAC Apprentice Installer

About the role

Gentry Service Group is a fast-growing, family-oriented heating and cooling company based in Swannanoa, NC. We are expanding our installation team and are seeking motivated individuals ready to launch a rewarding career in the high-tech, energy-efficient HVAC industry.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the installation of residential heating and air conditioning systems
• Learn to perform change-outs, ductwork modifications, and equipment upgrades
• Unload and stage equipment and materials
• Cut, drill, insulate, and build platforms as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Deliver a positive customer experience on every job

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training
• Basic math and science aptitude
• Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces
• Good mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic
• Clean appearance and professional attitude

Qualifications

No previous HVAC experience is necessary. We provide paid training and will invest in developing your skills from the ground up.

Pay

Starting pay up to $20.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional overtime)
