About the role

Capacity Path is actively recruiting providers in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties to join our Disaster Cadre in response to recent disasters leaving many in urgent need of support. This is a short-term, paid opportunity to deliver real relief and resilience on the frontlines—supporting survivors and responders with expert crisis care, wellness, real resilience, and neurobiologically-informed mental health support. Deployments may last from as few as 5 days to several months depending on availability and disaster impacts. All responders must be able and willing to travel to disaster-affected areas when deployed; this is not a remote position. Travel and lodging will be arranged or reimbursed as needed.

Punctuality, reliability, and adaptability are essential. We're especially interested in individuals with the passion and resilience to serve in unpredictable, high-impact environments—those who thrive under pressure and feel called to support communities in crisis.

  • Very competitive Daily Stipend: $350–550+/day based on qualifications/experience
  • Travel & Per Diem Reimbursement (more than 50 miles from home address)
  • Lodging & Onsite Transportation Provided
  • No obligation to Deploy when requested for Availability (like a Reservist list)
  • Response-specific training daily in the field on the Crisis Care Task Force to enhance your mental health and wellness skill set

Schedule

All positions are temporary, on-call roles for the 2025 response season. Evening and weekend work may be required. During the interview process, we'll walk you through how deployments work—including how they may fit around your existing employment or caseload.
