Huntsville Technician - 12 hour shifts (NIGHTS)

About the Location

Our Huntsville facility produces Hi-Nicalon TypeS SiC Fiber and SiC pre-preg tape in an advanced technology, LEAN manufacturing environment. This 100-acre campus, completed in 2017, hosts a diverse team of 250+ employees in a safety-first, secure, and climate-controlled workplace. Here, you can:

Responsibilities

• Assist and support set-up and tear-down of chemical equipment in a high-volume, batch production environment
• Rebuild chemical process components
• Package and move finished materials to the shipment area
• Conduct routine maintenance and operation of process systems and equipment across assigned process zones and occasionally in cross-functional areas
• Perform work practices with safety and quality in mind in a 24/7 production environment
• Complete required business and regulatory process documentation
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Ensure facility equipment and inventory/consumable levels are accurate
• Participate and actively engage in quality and continuous improvement projects
• Communicate effectively with peers, management, and external stakeholders
• Work second shift/night shifts as required
• Utilize business software such as ERP and quality/EHS software
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability and willingness to work off/varied shifts/weekends, as required
• Must be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining due to high-risk or hazardous operations
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) for access to U.S. export-controlled information
