About the role

ASRC Agile Decision Sciences is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are hiring multi-level Engineers to support our continued growth in Huntsville, Alabama.

Responsibilities

• An ACTIVE U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance is required
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline
• Minimum of two (2) years relevant engineering experience
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required
• This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s)
• Master’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred
• Desired skills include recent model development, working in an Agile environment, developing code in a DevOps environment, experience with Object Oriented design/development, reliability & maintainability engineering experience, Security+ Certification or higher, cloud technologies and platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and/or Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), software test execution, Microsoft Office Tools, reading & understanding of technical data, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong technical writing and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills

Skills

• C, C++, Java, Python, Ada, GoLang, Cython, Bash, Javascript, SQL, Mongo DB
• Recent model development
• Working in an Agile environment
• Developing code in a DevOps environment using Bitbucket or GitHub
• Windows/Linux OS environment experience
• Experience with Object Oriented design/development including the employment of Design Patterns to facilitate the utilization of software insulation techniques and plugins
• Software development for embedded systems
• Writing/reviewing code in Ada, C++, Java & Python
• Review & verification of system level software requirements
• Reliability & Maintainability Engineering experience
• Security+ Certification or higher
• Cloud technologies and platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and/or Google Cloud
• Kubernetes
• Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• Software test execution
• Microsoft Office Tools
• Reading & understanding of technical data
