Hunting Guide - Small & Big Game

Event Duties

• Hosting scouting hikes
• Leading turkey hunts
• Mentoring small game hunts
• Guiding mentored big game hunts (September and 2nd rifle of OTC bull elk)

Requirements

• Small event planning skills and foresight
• Lead 8 educational, in-person events independently
• Guide 1 joint retreat with the Dream Team
• Independently or as a team, coordinate a happy hour, launch party for your area, or a fundraiser for one of our non-profit partners
• Host Uncharted's client's favorite events
• Pass a background check
• Respect others' communication boundaries

Qualifications

• Deeply passionate about helping folks of all kinds, get into the outdoors
• Confident in your hunting and/or survival skill sets
• Have an entrepreneurial mindset
• Active on Facebook
• Work well on a team
• Have a stable income from another source
• Not currently employed by another outfitter
• Want to be employed by Uncharted for more than 2 years

Skills

• Event planning
• Teaching big game hunting (rifle and archery)
• Teaching small game hunting (upland bird/dusky grouse hunts and rabbit hunts)
• Target shooting
• Organizing fundraising events
• Marketing and promoting events
• Event coordination
