Responsibilities
- Teach English curriculum to students in assigned grade level sections.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver comprehensive, student-centered curriculum.
- Support student learning by incorporating a variety of pedagogical approaches to facilitate understanding across an array of learning styles.
- Develop students’ critical thinking, intellectual, and social-emotional skills.
- Collaborate with learning specialists to identify and support those students requiring additional resources or enrichment activities to promote optimal engagement with their learning.
- Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in History, English, education, or related; master’s preferred.
- A minimum of three years of previous Humanities teaching at a similar grade level.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Demonstrated confidence and aptitude with the use of instructional technology, such as Google suite for education and related resources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with all members of the community.
- Demonstrated interest in being part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and the integrity of all aspects of information disseminated within or external to the school community.
- Commitment to being part of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive school community.
Qualifications

Pay
The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $90,000, based on experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time, 10-month per year position.
