About the role

The Home Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of a certified ICF-MR home, supervising assigned shift personnel and ensuring comprehensive services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Responsibilities include managing staff, implementing programs, and supporting residents in achieving independence.

Responsibilities

  • Overall management and coordination of program services
  • Serves as team leader and Home Manager for assigned individuals
  • Ensures provision of comprehensive training, services, and supports for independence
  • Designs and implements programs within the home, including writing objective plans and training staff
  • Supervises all Residential Services staff assigned to the home

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSAs):

  • Thorough knowledge of developmental disabilities concepts, practices, and techniques
  • Skills in individual treatment planning, including person-centered planning and outcome documentation
  • Ability to coordinate professionals, para-professionals, and direct support staff
  • Ability to manage and supervise residential units
  • Ability to develop cooperative working relationships with residents, families, and staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field from an appropriately accredited institution
  • Two years of experience providing and/or developing personal care plans for individuals with intellectual disabilities

Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of developmental disabilities
  • Skills in individual treatment planning
  • Ability to coordinate professionals, para-professionals, and direct support staff
  • Ability to manage and supervise residential units
  • Ability to develop cooperative working relationships

Benefits

Mandatory reporting during adverse weather events.

Pay

$41,206.00 - $72,113.00 per year

Schedule

8 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday
