About the role

Seeking a dedicated Human Service Professional to provide trauma-informed, recovery-focused services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, homelessness, or involvement with the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities

• Offer support across community locations, shelters, jails, offices, and schools, either in person or virtually
• Assist with benefit enrollment (Medicaid, FoodShare)
• Provide assistance with social security, IDs, employment, and housing applications
• Coordinate mental health services and recovery support
• Teach life skills, coping strategies, and budgeting guidance
• Support medication management
• Coordinate educational opportunities (GED, technical colleges)
• Connect individuals to comprehensive community services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience working with individuals in crisis
• Proficiency with electronic health records and computer applications
