Human Resources Supervisor (Prairie du Chien, WI)

As a Human Resource Supervisor, you will make an impact by providing guidance and counsel to management and employees on company guidelines, employee relations, compliance, performance management, workforce hiring, and training and development needs.

Responsibilities

• Support plant management with general HR programs including training, employment law compliance, recruiting, new hire orientation, employee relations, and performance management.
• Assist leadership teams in improving organizational effectiveness by analyzing department structures, evaluating options, assessing employee climate, morale, and effectiveness, and developing action steps for improvement.
• Drive process improvement projects.
• Deliver seamless HR support including Employee Relations, Employee Assistance, Total Compensation Resources (Payroll, Benefits, Mobility, etc.), Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, Disability Management, and more.
• Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while performing assigned duties.
• Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of Human Resources or Supervisory experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Qualifications

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed further in this role include:

• One year of HR supervisory experience.
• Two years of HR experience within a plant and/or manufacturing environment.
• Master’s degree in a human resources discipline from an accredited university.
• Five years of Human Resource experience.
• Able to work cross-functionally up and down the organization with proven ability to build relationships, establish trust, and credibility.
• Can work both independently and in a team, on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have an unquestionable reputation for discretion, business and personal integrity, judgment, responsiveness, with strong attention to detail.

Location & Travel

This is an on-site position located in Prairie du Chien, WI. Travel may include up to 5% domestic. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $109,202 - $133,469, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
