Human Resources Supervisor

About the role

The Human Resources Supervisor position at 3M's DeKalb Distribution Center in DeKalb, IL, provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government, or military experience to a 3M career. Key responsibilities include hiring and new employee onboarding, coordinating with stakeholders for interviews, leading corrective action processes, supporting disability and leave management, and handling various employee and leadership questions.

Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard new employees
• Coordinate with stakeholders for interviews to ensure compliance with business processes
• Lead the Corrective Action process by conducting employee investigations and facilitating meetings with the Leadership Team
• Support Healthy Living activities
• Coordinate and implement 3M Corporate initiatives such as Employee Assistance and Diversity & Inclusion programs
• Handle a variety of employee and leadership questions
• Administer and interpret corporate policies, procedures, and practices
• Support the disability and leave management process
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
• Three (3) years of Human Resources experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
• Master's degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited university preferred
• Ability to work independently with little oversight
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
• Ability to resolve employee issues and elevate when necessary

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
• Competitive pay and benefits range of $109,202 - $133,469, including base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible
