Minimum Requirements
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through Other Personnel Services (OPS) or Federal Work Study (FWS) and must maintain a 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.
Job Description
- Be a current UF degree seeking student registered at a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester

Position Specific Responsibilities
- Aid in processing time and labor and payroll transactions, ensuring accuracy
- Enter distributions for all newly hired employees and make changes as needed
- Review and reconcile departmental payrolls bi-weekly, ensuring appropriate payroll is calculated, recorded, and disbursed accurately for all employees
- Collaborate with the University Human Resource Services office, Payroll office, and other units as required to ensure accurate and timely processing and coordination of personnel and payroll transactions
- Receive, reconcile, and maintain leave records for all staff
- Communicate with staff supervisors to ensure understanding of individual employee leave use
- Create and disseminate departmental communications specific to payroll functions as needed
- Ensure compliance with university policies, procedures, and deadlines
- Develop reports, handle special projects, and other duties as assigned
