About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Supervisory Human Resources Specialist to lead Employee Relations and Labor Relations operations within a complex healthcare environment. This leadership role oversees HR programs, advises executive management on workforce matters, supervises HR professionals, and ensures compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, and organizational policies while supporting strategic human resources initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Employee Relations and Labor Relations programs.
- Provide strategic HR guidance to leadership on workforce policies and employment matters.
- Manage employee relations, labor relations, and performance management initiatives.
- Advisory managers on disciplinary actions, workplace investigations, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Interpret employment laws, regulations, and HR policies to ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and operational improvements.
- Lead workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning initiatives.
- Prepare reports, recommendations, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Mentor, coach, and develop HR staff while promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Support training, employee engagement, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive experience in employee relations, labor relations, and human resources management.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience within an HR environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HR best practices.
- Experience managing workplace investigations, performance management, and employee relations programs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to build effective relationships with leadership, employees, and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
