HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE BENEFITS)

This position is located in the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast Command Operations Department, Human Capital Management Division.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and interpret injury compensation standards established by Congress and the Department of Labor (DOL).
• Use the Employees Compensation Operations Management Portal (ECOMP) in accordance with DOL, DoD, and DON instructions.
• Work with managers and supervisors to controvert claims the activity perceives as unjustified under applicable regulations and precedent Office of Workers’ Compensation (OWCP) appeal decisions.

Pay

Salary range: $89,508 – $116,362 per year.
