Human Resources Specialist (Classification)
About the role
The Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a Full-Time Human Resources Specialist (Classification), NH-0201-03, to support the United States Air Force at USSTRATCOM/J11, Offutt AFB, NE.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior Human Resources Specialist (classification) with responsibility for planning, developing, and carrying out expert position classification and position management advisory for assigned organizations.
- Knowledge of position management principles, concepts, practices, analytical methods and a wide range of qualitative and quantitative techniques and relationships of various human resource disciplines and alternative workforce functions.
- Knowledge of federal position classification and position management laws, regulations, executive orders, functions, theories, concepts, policies, precedents, practices, and techniques and the interrelationship of the various personnel disciplines.
- Knowledge of the methods and techniques of fact finding, analysis, qualitative and quantitative evaluation and diagnosis, and the resolution on complex problems to analyze substantive organizational and operational practices and problems and develop concrete action plans to provide appropriate human resource recommendations and solutions to management.
- Knowledge of organizational structures and functions to identify, consider, and present options for the resolution of substantive organizational and program issues involving human resource management and other special programs.
- Skills in written and oral communication techniques sufficient to develop and deliver briefings, status reports, and correspondence to managers to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
- Ability to use automated systems to affect personnel actions, change data fields, retrieve data, create reports and queries, utilize email, and operate basic word processing functions.
Qualifications/Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.

Pay
SALARY RANGE: $76,463 - $118,204 without locality. Relocation incentive may be available.
