Responsibilities

The HR Specialist is responsible for administering and coordinating employee benefit programs including:

• Medical, dental, and vision benefits
• Life and supplemental life insurance
• Short-term and long-term disability
• 403(b) retirement plan
• COBRA administration
• Healthcare/Flexible Spending Accounts
• Employee Assistance Plans

Administers benefits enrollments, changes, and termination of benefits for all employees of Henry Mayo.

Requirements

• Previous knowledge in administering benefits preferred
• Working knowledge of HR processes, HRIS systems, recruiting, employee relations, leave management, and benefits, either through education or functional experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to explain benefit programs to employees clearly and concisely
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)
• Associate’s Degree in Business or related field (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree (highly desirable)
• Three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience in Human Resources or related field, including HRIS employee data entry and changes

Pay

Opening pay range: $85,300.80 to $136,468.80
