About the role
The U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Minnesota seeks a Human Resources Specialist to provide a variety of human resources management services in recruitment and placement, position classification, employee relations and performance management, employee benefits, human resources development, employee compensation, and records management and administration.
Responsibilities
- Performing position analysis to determine organizational requirements.
- Determining recruitment strategies and posting job announcements.
- Reviewing applications and applying qualification standards.
- Providing advice and assistance on performance management.
- Providing assistance in the administration of benefits programs.
- Providing guidance on pay and leave administration.
- Identifying training and development needs.
- Conducting evaluations of human resource program operations.
Requirements
- Conditions of Employment: Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, undergo a background investigation, and meet other eligibility requirements.
- Qualifications: GS-07 requires specialized experience, education, or a combination of both. GS-09 and GS-11 require specialized experience, education, or a combination of both.
- Additional Information: Eligible for ICTAP or CTAP consideration, and must meet all qualification requirements upon the closing date of this announcement.
