Duties & Responsibilities
- Partners with HR Generalists to administer Federal and State leave programs across multiple states, including eligibility review, notifications, tracking time and ensuring timely follow-up with employees and managers.
- Partners with vendors in the administration of workers’ compensation claims, including coordinating with carriers and internal stakeholders.
- Maintains OSHA injury and illness records; prepares and posts the annual OSHA summary.
- Prepares and submits annual EEO-1 and other required federal, state, or local HR-related reports, ensuring accuracy and appropriate record retention.
- Runs, schedules, and validates HRIS reports to support compliance, audits, and reporting on leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, headcount, demographics.
- Create dashboards for HR Metrics.
- Monitor federal, state, and local employment law posting requirements; ensure all required postings are current, visible, and available to on-site and remote employees.
- Partners with HR Generalists on internal and external audits related to HR compliance (e.g., leaves, workers’ compensation, I-9s, personnel files, EEO/affirmative action data).
- Conducts OSHA, EEO, BLS reporting and assists with other required state and federal reporting.
- Responds to unemployment claims and participates in hearings when required.
- Responds to questions related to leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, OSHA/incident reporting, EEO data, and personnel files, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
- Maintains employee records and files.
- Collaborates with Human Resources colleagues across disciplines and programs in multiple states.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
