ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage the full cycle of recruitment efforts for various positions within the company.
- Source candidates through online channels, networking, and industry contacts.
- Screens resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- Develop and implement training programs that align with company goals and employee development needs.
- Coordinate and conduct orientation sessions for new hires.
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with managers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to recruitment, training, and employee development activities.
- Evaluate and report on the impact of training programs on employee performance.
- Aid in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices in recruitment, training, and employee development.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing, walking, bending and sitting for extended periods are required to perform basic office functions.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds is regularly required for filing and other record keeping duties.
- Vision must be sufficient for imputing data into a computer.
- Keyboarding skills that reduce the risk of carpal tunnel and other office related injuries.
- Must be able to maintain a valid driver’s license along with an e-Rail Safe badge and meet the Holland Vehicle Fleet Policy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College Degree in Human Resources or a related field required.
- Minimum of 1 year in a Human Resources capacity.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with dealing with personal and protected information.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize your workflow.
- Intermediate MS Office skills including Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Efficient at communicating both written and verbal.
- Must be willing to take and pass all mandatory pre-employment testing.
