ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage the full cycle of recruitment efforts for various positions within the company.
  • Source candidates through online channels, networking, and industry contacts.
  • Screens resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Develop and implement training programs that align with company goals and employee development needs.
  • Coordinate and conduct orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with managers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to recruitment, training, and employee development activities.
  • Evaluate and report on the impact of training programs on employee performance.
  • Aid in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices in recruitment, training, and employee development.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Standing, walking, bending and sitting for extended periods are required to perform basic office functions.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds is regularly required for filing and other record keeping duties.
  • Vision must be sufficient for imputing data into a computer.
  • Keyboarding skills that reduce the risk of carpal tunnel and other office related injuries.
  • Must be able to maintain a valid driver’s license along with an e-Rail Safe badge and meet the Holland Vehicle Fleet Policy.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College Degree in Human Resources or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a Human Resources capacity.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with dealing with personal and protected information.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize your workflow.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills including Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Efficient at communicating both written and verbal.
  • Must be willing to take and pass all mandatory pre-employment testing.
