Key Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including job postings, interview coordination, and onboarding
- Cook up and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth employee experience
- Complete and manage I-9 verification, compliance tracking, and documentation
- Maintain and update HR policies, handbooks, and internal communications
- Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS and other systems
- Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
- Generate and analyze HR reports and metrics to support workforce planning and compliance
- Support payroll processes by validating employee data and coordinating with payroll
- Create and deliver internal communications including job postings, announcements, and updates
- Maintain HR SharePoint content and internal communication platforms
- Cook up and deliver training sessions, engagement initiatives, and HR-related events
- Assist with performance management processes and documentation tracking
- Support employee engagement programs, including recognition initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment laws and policies
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions and HR support
Qualifications
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field required (an associate's degree preferred)
- Office experience required; HR experience strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and MS Forms
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors highly preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Ability to travel between Winston-Salem and Mocksville locations as needed
- Light office duties, including extended sitting or standing
- Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Good manual dexterity for computer-based work

The Details:

- Hours are 7:30a – 5:30p Monday – Thursday, and 7:30a – 11:30a on Fridays
