This position is located at FDIC’s Virginia Square campus in Arlington, Virginia—a multi-building complex that includes the L. William Seidman Center. The campus offers amenities such as a fitness center, cafeteria, two large auditoriums, classrooms with state-of-the-art audio/visual resources, and a 350-room extended-stay residence center. Situated on 9.5 acres, the campus is a short drive from FDIC’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., and is easily accessible via the Virginia Square Metro stop on the Orange Line.

Responsibilities

  • Issue resolution, follow-up, and recommendations for corporate Centers of Excellence (COE), including:
    • Hotline call response, investigation, and follow-up
    • Corrective action and performance management consulting
    • Policy interpretation
  • Employee Engagement Initiatives:
    • Development and follow-up of Engagement Action Plans
    • Coordination of corporate engagement and celebration activities
  • Talent Acquisition: Serve as the point of contact for corporate Accelerate to Leadership and Step Up to Leadership programs
  • HR metrics reporting and analysis
  • Benefits and payroll assistance as needed
  • Onboarding programs and initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Employment relations experience, including conducting investigations and developing resolutions
  • Proven ability to effectively interact, communicate, and consult with multiple levels of management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to train and make presentations
  • Solid understanding of financial and business objectives
  • Organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Initiative to improve processes as needed
  • Ability to solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent (ideal)
  • HR/SPHR certification preferred
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications required
  • Human Resources planning and organizational development experience desired

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000.
