About the role
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the Cedar Rapids, IA office, including employee relations, benefits administration, training programs, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the HR department
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs
- Develop and implement training programs for employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Collaborate with management on strategic initiatives related to HR
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a managerial capacity
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead and mentor HR professionals
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- $80,000 - $90,000 annually
