About the role

The Human Resources Manager, reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, supports the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the following major areas: employee relations, investigations, complaints, employment disputes, leaves of absences, and compliance with labor laws.

This position will be in a hybrid work environment: remote with weekly visits to assigned campuses and occasional travel outside the area.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of employee relations initiatives
  • Conduct investigations into complaints and employment disputes
  • Manage leaves of absence and ensure compliance with labor laws

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or similar applicable field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources Generalist/Employee Relations
  • Basic understanding of laws applicable to California employers, including but not limited to wage and hour, harassment, discrimination, and protected absences
  • HR Certification preferred
  • Investigation Certification preferred

Pay

The salary range listed represents the minimum and maximum base pay per year at the time of posting. Final salary offered will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

$110,000 USD - $140,000 USD
