As the HR Manager, you’ll shape the employee experience on site - partnering directly with plant leadership, union representatives, and cross-functional teams to build strong relationships, develop leaders, and foster a culture where people and performance thrive together.
What You’ll Do
- Be a trusted partner to plant leaders, aligning people strategies with business goals and delivering practical HR solutions
- Partner across the organization, including plant leadership, Health, Safety & Environment, Operations, Legal, and across the HR function to ensure alignment and consistency
- Interpret and administer the collective bargaining agreement fairly and consistently
- Possess the ability to partner closely with Payroll to ensure accurate and compliant application of the collective bargaining agreement, including proper handling of pay practices, premiums, and contractual obligations
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture
- Lead hiring, development, and succession planning to build strong teams
- Coach leaders in real time to strengthen performance management, employee relations, and leadership effectiveness
- Support leaders in navigating union-related and complex employee situations with sound judgment
- Provide insights on team dynamics to strengthen communication, trust, and collaboration
- Lead change initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts
- Ensure compliance with regulations and reinforce a strong safety culture
- Use data and insights to improve HR processes and drive business value
