About the role
We are seeking a Human Resources Investigator to join a premier automotive manufacturer in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree and have 5+ years of experience conducting complex employee investigations.
Responsibilities
- Investigating workplace complaints by taking statements from employees and preparing comprehensive case files.
- Interviewing the complainant, witnesses, and the person of interest (POI).
- Maintaining appropriate documentation for investigations and managing employee data with confidentiality.
- Supporting salaried personnel and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience conducting complex employee investigations
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Flexible with evening or weekend investigations
- Comfortable working onsite at the Chicago Assembly Plant
