Responsibilities
- Lead reviews of workplace concerns and fact-finding activities for routine cases, while partnering with senior team members on more sensitive matters as needed.
- Examine employee relations issues, apply company guidelines consistently, and recommend practical next steps aligned with policy and labor requirements.
- Advise employees on workplace policies, available support channels, and appropriate options for addressing concerns constructively.
- Facilitate discussions between individuals or groups to reduce conflict, encourage resolution, and improve working relationships.
- Collaborate with site HR and operational leaders to carry out investigation findings and support follow-up actions.
- Prepare reports, organize case information, and identify missing details, inconsistencies, or risks that require escalation.
- Aid employees through workplace changes by communicating expectations clearly and helping them understand how updates may affect their roles and daily work.
- Contribute to the development of team practices and standard approaches as the function continues to evolve.
Requirements
- Previous experience handling workplace investigations, employee relations matters, or similar conflict-resolution activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across employee and leadership groups.
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of HR policies, compliance practices, and applicable workplace regulations.
- Ability to document findings accurately, prepare clear reports, and recognize when issues should be escalated.
- Comfortable operating in a developing team environment where processes and best practices are still being established.
- Certification in workplace investigations, HR compliance, or conflict resolution is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is an advantage.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $25.00 to $33.00.
