Part-time, semester-based internship in Athens, GA, around 15 hours per week. This internship is designed for students who are receiving academic credit through their college or university.

Responsibilities

  • Help Welcome New Team Members
    • Prepare onboarding packets and employee documentation
    • Support new hire orientation sessions
    • Assist with tracking pre-employment requirements such as background checks and screenings
  • Learn the Fundamentals of HR Compliance
    • Help maintain employee records and personnel files
    • Assist with HR audits and documentation reviews
    • Learn about confidentiality, workplace regulations, and compliance standards
  • Explore Payroll & Benefits
    • Observe how employee information moves through payroll and HR systems
    • Assist with reviewing personnel documentation for accuracy
    • Help organize benefits materials and employee resources
  • Support Recruiting Efforts
    • Assist with posting job and internship opportunities
    • Help organize resumes and applications
    • Represent The Classic Center at job fairs and campus recruiting events
  • Get Involved in Employee Programs & Events
    • Support training sessions, meetings, and employee development programs
    • Help prepare materials and track attendance
    • Assist with special initiatives that support employee growth and engagement
  • Take on Meaningful Projects
    • Update HR forms, templates, and onboarding materials
    • Organize digital records and data entry projects
    • Contribute ideas and support projects based on your interests and career goals
