Human Resources Internship

About the Role

The Human Resources Intern role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience and insights into HR Operations. This internship offers hands-on experience with HR programs, business practices, policies, daily operations, and records retention in a non-union manufacturing and Defense Contracting environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing administrative support to the HR Team
• Entering and maintaining accurate data in multiple HR systems
• Organizing, scheduling, and executing events in support of employees
• Reviewing exit surveys and scheduling exit interviews

Requirements

• Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution (documentation required to confirm degree progress) or recent graduates within one year of completing a bachelor’s or master’s program
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to work on-site in DeLeon Springs, FL
• Must be verified as part of the background check process

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Staff Assistant or similar entry-level HR role
• Experience with Excel, managing email, Canva, and Microsoft Office products
• Strong organizational skills

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The work environment includes both a professional office setting and a manufacturing environment. The employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Occasionally, the employee may encounter extreme conditions in the plant, and the noise level may be loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
