About the role
Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C. (PAGNY) has an opportunity for a Human Resource Information System Analyst (HRIS Analyst). PAGNY is a multispecialty medical practice group that staffs several municipal hospitals and clinics within New York City through an affiliation agreement with NYC Health + Hospitals. PAGNY's corporate staff provides administrative, practice management and human resources services in support of its more than 3,000 clinical providers.
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain and help optimize the PAGNY Human Capital Management system
- Maintain the integrity and reliability of the organization HRIS data and support specialized projects
- Collaborate with various teams to determine short- and long-term system objectives; develop a plan to modify and optimize HRIS applications, modules and systems to meet those objectives
- Utilize interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals
- Recommend process/service improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes to better support clinical and administrative staff
- Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools
- Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing team needs
- Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
- Collaborate with the rest of HRIS team to plan, modify, and customize the HRIS system and to test new applications and features
- Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
- Participate in user group meetings/conferences
- Provide site operations support as needed for Affiliate Specialists
Qualifications
- Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals
- Ability to work with confidential information
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product
Preferred
- Experience working within a healthcare organization or physician group
