We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Recruiter to support high-volume hiring for a manufacturing operation in South Carolina. This is a contract position focused on managing a sizable requisition load for hourly roles while maintaining an organized, responsive recruiting process.
About the role
The ideal candidate brings strong full-cycle recruiting experience, sound prioritization skills, and the ability to partner effectively with hiring teams in a fast-paced environment. You will balance approximately 33 active requisitions at a time by organizing workload, adjusting priorities, and ensuring timely follow-up throughout the hiring cycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a large number of open positions, with a primary focus on hourly manufacturing-related hiring needs.
- Source candidates with relevant experience through a variety of channels and build talent pipelines to support ongoing staffing demand.
- Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and assess candidate fit based on role requirements, experience, and workplace readiness.
- Coordinate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing priorities, align on candidate profiles, and move urgent openings forward efficiently.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and requisition activity within the applicant tracking system to support visibility and compliance.
- Drive a positive candidate experience by providing clear communication, scheduling support, and status updates from initial contact through offer stages.
Requirements
- Previous recruiting experience within a manufacturing environment is required.
- Demonstrated success managing high-volume recruiting activity across multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
- Background in corporate recruiting with a strong focus on filling hourly positions.
- Proficiency using an applicant tracking system to manage candidate workflows and requisitions.
- Strong ability to prioritize competing hiring needs and remain organized in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
