Human Resources (HR) Generalist

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support a broad range of people operations in Wakefield, Massachusetts. This role will contribute to a positive employee experience by coordinating day-to-day HR administration, guiding onboarding activities, and assisting with benefits-related processes. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong organization skills, and the ability to handle employee matters with professionalism and discretion. Responsibilities: • Support daily human resources operations by maintaining employee records, preparing documentation, and ensuring information is accurate and up to date. • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, responding to questions and escalating sensitive issues appropriately. • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including paperwork completion, orientation scheduling, and policy communication. • Assist with benefits administration by helping employees understand available programs and supporting enrollments and changes. • Manage HRIS data entry and updates to help maintain reliable reporting and workforce information. • Partner with managers and internal stakeholders to promote consistent application of HR policies and procedures. • Prepare routine HR reports, track required documentation, and support compliance-related administrative tasks. • Experience working in a broad human resources role with exposure to employee relations and HR administration. • Knowledge of onboarding processes and the ability to deliver a smooth and organized onboarding experience. • Familiarity with benefits administration, including employee support for enrollments and updates. • Hands-on experience using an HRIS to maintain personnel records and process data accurately. • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment.
