Human Resources Generalist - Recruiter

About the Role

This onsite position in Olive Branch, MS, provides comprehensive HR support to the organization, ensuring compliance with employment laws, managing recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, administering benefits, and supporting various HR initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
• Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain the employee handbook and policies manual.
• Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
• Maintain and develop talent pipelines for current and future staffing needs.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews; guide hiring managers through structured interview processes.
• Prepare and extend job offers in collaboration with leadership.
• Prepare onboarding materials, coordinate pre-employment screenings, and assist with orientation activities.
• Organize employee engagement activities, conduct stay interviews, and promote a culture of inclusion.
• Work closely with the HR Manager to communicate policies and procedures clearly, ensuring a customer-driven environment.
• Assist in recruitment efforts to fill vacant positions, including job postings, resume review, and coordination of interviews with hiring managers.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review policies and practices to ensure compliance.
• Serve as a liaison between employees and management.
• Assist leaders and managers with performance management initiatives, retention strategies, and employee development.
• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Management (preferred).
• 2-3 years of HR experience (required).
• Spanish language skills (preferred).
• Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office—Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (required).
• Proven time management skills: ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks effectively.
• Exceptional judgment and common sense, with demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and develop employee-centric solutions.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Results-oriented with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Process improvement and data analytical skills (preferred).
