Job Summary As we continue to grow one of the fastest-growing apparel brands, we are seeking a Human Resources Generalist, Leave Administration & Compliance to serve as the primary HR partner for an assigned manufacturing site. This role provides employee relations support, administers leaves of absence, manages workers’ compensation matters, and offers compliance guidance. The position builds strong relationships with employees and site leadership to support a positive employee experience, consistent application of company policies, and a safe, respectful, and productive work environment. The Human Resources Generalist works closely with employees, managers, healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and the broader HR team to administer leave programs, coordinate workers' compensation claims, support return-to-work efforts, and address employee relations matters. This position serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company employment requirements. Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & Leadership Support Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and leaders at the assigned site.Partner with managers and supervisors to address employee relations concerns, provide coaching, and assist with conflict resolution.Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate actions consistent with company policies and practices.Support performance management processes, including coaching, corrective action, and employee development discussions.Build positive working relationships with employees and leadership to promote engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture.Provide guidance on the interpretation and consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices. Leave Administration & Compliance Administer all employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, state leave programs, military leave, personal leave, and other company-sponsored leaves.Manage the leave process from initial request through return-to-work, ensuring timely communication and compliance with applicable regulations. Coordinate with employees, managers, medical providers, and third-party administrators regarding leave eligibility, documentation, and return-to-work planning.Maintain accurate and confidential leave records and documentation. Educate employees and leaders on leave policies, processes, and available resources.Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws related to leave administration. Workers' Compensation Administration Coordinate all workers' compensation claims for the assigned site, including reporting, documentation, and claim management.Partner with employees, supervisors, safety teams, insurance carriers, and healthcare providers to support successful claim outcomes.Manage return-to-work and transitional duty programs to facilitate a safe and timely return to work.Monitor claim activity, identify trends, and recommend improvements to reduce workplace injuries and associated costs.Ensure compliance with workers' compensation regulations and company policies. HR Operations & Employee Support Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities for site employees.Provide frontline HR support regarding policies, programs, benefits, open enrollment, performance reviews, and employment-related questions.Support HR communications related to policy updates, training initiatives, organizational changes, and employee programs. Participate in HR and cross-functional projects that support business objectives and employee engagement.Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee information at all times. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or experience equivalent to.Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations, leave administration, workers' compensation, and compliance responsibilities.SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification strongly preferred.Experience supporting employees and leaders in a manufacturing, production, or operational environment preferred.Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, workers' compensation, and other employment-related regulations.Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing employee relations matters.Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence leaders at all levels of the organization.Strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems, preferably Rippling.Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and employee-focused workplace culture.
