About the role
The Human Resources Generalist II position is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources department, assisting with various HR functions, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assists with recruitment processes including screening applications, conducting interviews, and preparing job postings.
- Handles employee relations issues, such as performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
- Administers employee benefit programs, including health insurance, wellness initiatives, and life insurance.
- Processes payroll and handles employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Supports the onboarding process for new hires, including background checks and orientation.
- Coordinates training and development programs for employees.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal labor laws and regulations.
