Job Description
We're looking for an HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll partner closely with plant leadership and employees to support staffing, employee relations, compliance, benefits and leave administration, onboarding, payroll support, and workforce programs.
- Partner with plant leadership and employees to support staffing, employee relations, compliance, benefits and leave administration, onboarding, payroll support, and workforce programs.
- Support benefits administration, including open enrollment, employee communication, and wellness initiatives.
- Respond to employee questions and help resolve workplace concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Support recruiting, engagement, retention, performance management, and other workforce programs.
- Administer leave and accommodation processes, including FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation, STD, and LTD.
- Manage hourly recruiting activities, including job postings, interviews, candidate flow, and applicant tracking.
- Care for day-to-day HR systems, records, and administrative processes.
- Take on other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Ace an associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Three years of HR support, HRIS, or related experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience with HR systems such as Workday, UKG, Beeline, and iCIMS is preferred.
- Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish is required to be most effective in this role.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including the ability to handle sensitive employee matters.
- A strong customer service mindset and the ability to remain professional in high-pressure situations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with sound judgment and a practical work style.
- The ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams and employee groups.
