About the role

Trueline's client, an established and growing manufacturer of premium commercial equipment, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team in Denver, Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary onsite HR partner supporting approximately 150 employees
  • Provide day-to-day support for employee relations, policy interpretation, and HR best practices
  • Cook up recruiting activities, candidate communication, interviews, offers, onboarding, and orientation
  • Administer employee benefits, leave programs, workers' compensation, and HR compliance activities
  • Support payroll processing, employee status changes, and HRIS data accuracy
  • Partner with managers on attendance, performance documentation, and workforce planning
  • Maintain employee records while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Support labor relations activities, including administration of a Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Help foster an engaging, employee-focused culture through communication and recognition initiatives

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Experience supporting multiple HR disciplines including employee relations, benefits, recruiting, payroll, and compliance
  • A strong understanding of employment laws including FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and wage and hour regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Paycom or similar platforms

Nice-to-Haves

  • Manufacturing, industrial, or distribution experience
  • Union or Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) experience
  • Experience administering Colorado FAMLI leave
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR

Pay

Base salary of $80,000-$95,000
