About the role
Trueline's client, an established and growing manufacturer of premium commercial equipment, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary onsite HR partner supporting approximately 150 employees
- Provide day-to-day support for employee relations, policy interpretation, and HR best practices
- Cook up recruiting activities, candidate communication, interviews, offers, onboarding, and orientation
- Administer employee benefits, leave programs, workers' compensation, and HR compliance activities
- Support payroll processing, employee status changes, and HRIS data accuracy
- Partner with managers on attendance, performance documentation, and workforce planning
- Maintain employee records while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support labor relations activities, including administration of a Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Help foster an engaging, employee-focused culture through communication and recognition initiatives
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Experience supporting multiple HR disciplines including employee relations, benefits, recruiting, payroll, and compliance
- A strong understanding of employment laws including FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and wage and hour regulations
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Paycom or similar platforms
Nice-to-Haves
- Manufacturing, industrial, or distribution experience
- Union or Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) experience
- Experience administering Colorado FAMLI leave
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR
Pay
Base salary of $80,000-$95,000
