About the role
The HR Generalist serves as the primary on-site People & Culture resource for Rinnai's Lakes Manufacturing Facility in Griffin, Georgia. This role provides day-to-day HR support across employee relations, talent, performance, engagement, and HR operations while partnering with leaders to support employees and business needs.
This position is located at 500 The Lakes Pkwy, Griffin, GA 30224.

Responsibilities
- Onboarding (Lead)
- Own and lead the end-to-end onboarding experience for new hires
- Coordinate onboarding activities across HR, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams
- Facilitate new hire orientation, ensuring alignment to company culture, policies, and expectations
- Continuously improve the onboarding experience based on feedback and data
- Ensure all onboarding documentation and compliance requirements are completed accurately and timely
- Employee & Manager Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries
- Provide guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters, including investigations and performance concerns
- Partner with leaders to promote effective people management and consistent application of practices
- Policy & Compliance
- Administer HR policies, programs, and procedures in alignment with company standards
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain required postings, documentation, and audit readiness
- Support I-9 compliance and personnel record management
- HR Operations & Systems
- Maintain and update employee data within HRIS (ADP), ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Manage HR inquiries and documentation processes
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reporting, and analytics
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased operational efficiency
- Talent & Workforce Support
- Support recruiting, workforce planning, and coordination of hiring activities with leaders
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure seamless transition from hiring to onboarding
- Analyze stay/exit data and support retention initiatives
- Assist with employee engagement survey administration and action planning
- Employee Engagement & Communications
- Coordinate and support engagement initiatives, including town halls and company events
- Assist in drafting and delivering HR communications
- Promote a culture aligned with company values and high-performance expectations
- Programs & Initiatives
- Support HR projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Assist with administration of HR programs (e.g., fleet, compliance tracking, reporting)
- Partner with the Manager, People & Culture on continuous improvement efforts across HR processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5+ years of HR generalist, operations, or employee services experience
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and reporting/analytics
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
