About the role

LVMH Fashion Group is seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Generalist to join our North America HR team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong employee relations expertise, and is passionate about creating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner, the HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting employees and managers, guiding performance and policy matters, and helping shape an exceptional employee experience across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
    • Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into workplace issues, including harassment, discrimination, and policy violations, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
    • Provide guidance and coaching to employees and managers on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and performance management.
    • Facilitate mediations and discussions to resolve workplace disputes effectively.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all employee relations cases.
  • HR Policy & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Assist in the development, implementation, and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Educate employees and managers on company policies and legal requirements.
  • Performance Management:
    • Support managers in addressing performance issues, including drafting performance improvement plans (PIPs) and providing guidance on disciplinary actions.
    • Collaborate with managers to conduct performance reviews and facilitate goal setting.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding:
    • Assist with onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
    • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Enact solutions from analytical data to drive team retention and reduce turnover, primarily in the retail department.
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Support recruitment and talent acquisition processes, partnering with candidates and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless employee experience.
    • Assist with internal transfers, promotions, and employee movement process.
  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
    • Prepare HR-related reports and analytics as needed.
    • Support other HR functions and initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of human resources experience, preferably within retail, hospitality, luxury, or customer-focused environments.
  • Experience supporting employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

The compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 annually. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
