Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will be integral to supporting various HR initiatives and promoting a positive workplace culture. In this pivotal role, as a Human Resources Generalist you will be responsible for managing employee relations, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. Additionally, the Human Resources Generalist will serve as a resource for employees and managers, addressing HR-related inquiries and fostering an inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Develops site monthly HR metrics presentation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Present New Hire Orientation for new employees in partnership with Talent Acquisition
• Collaborate with Operations to gain insights into business requirements and discover ways to enhance support
• Address and resolve employee relations matters, including conducting thorough investigations
• Support the implementation and development of HR policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a Generalist role
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, etc.)
• Experience conducting investigations and anything related to Employee Relations
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in HRIS applications and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
