Human Resources Generalist

About the Role

Rheo Engineering is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented HR Generalist to partner with our Director of HR. In this role, you will manage day-to-day HR operations, support full-cycle recruitment, and help build out the HR infrastructure for a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hiring processes including job postings, screening, and offer letters
• Execute new-hire orientation and offboarding
• Administer employee benefits and manage open enrollment
• Handle leave administration (FMLA/ADA) and process biweekly payroll accurately
• Maintain OSHA logs and manage workers' comp claims
• Administer compliance training and ensure adherence to employment laws
• Field day-to-day HR inquiries and support internal investigations/disciplinary actions
• Maintain personnel records

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business (or 6+ years relevant HR experience)
• 4+ years as an HR Generalist
• Proficiency in MS Office (strong Excel), HRIS systems, Paychex (or similar payroll software), and ATS platforms (Greenhouse preferred)
• Strong knowledge of employment law
• Excellent communication skills, high EQ, and precise attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• SHRM-CP/PHR certification
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
