Description Summary: The Human resources Generalist manages a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, recruitment, and performance management. Essential Functions Support day-to-day HR operations and serve as a point of contact for employees and managersManage timecards and process bi-weekly payrollManage imputed wages for expatriates on visasAdminister employment-based immigration and global mobility programs, including H-1B, TN, E-3, L-1, and other visa sponsorships, expatriate assignments, work authorization renewals, and immigration compliance while partnering with external legal counsel, government agencies, managers, and employees to ensure timely, accurate case management.Audits payroll/process/edits for each periodAdminister employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the company culture and understand policies and procedures.Oversee employee evaluation processes, provide guidance on performance management systems and facilitate regular feedback sessionsManage benefits administration, including health plans, retirement programs, workers' compensation claims, and FMLA leave requestsAdminister and support full-cycle recruitment (job postings, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding)Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and HR best practicesManage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actionsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policiesMaintain and update employee records, Paylocity data, and personnel filesAssist with performance management processes, including reviews and coaching supportCoordinate and support training and development initiativesAnalyze HR metrics and provide reporting to support decision-makingPartner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational changesParticipate in sustainability strategies that directly support specific SDGsWork with all departments to embed sustainable practices into daily operationsEngage all employees to raise awareness and drive participation in sustainability effortsPromote employee engagement initiatives and a positive workplace cultureAssist with audits, compliance reporting, and documentationParticipating in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives Requirements Required Skills Knowledge of general human resources policies and proceduresStrong working knowledge of employment/labor lawsProficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the company’s payroll system, PaylocityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDesire to work as a team with a results driven approachAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Education/Experience BS/BA degree in Human resources or Business Administration 5+ years of proven experience as an HR Generalist.
