About the role
The Human Resources Employee Relations Specialist performs HR-related duties and works closely with leaders to provide HR support and direction, especially around performance management. The HR Employee Relations Specialist will collaborate with the HR Employee Relations Specialists II as needed due to volume or complexity. Works independently to conduct appropriate investigations, manage documentation, provide reports, and assist with other projects as needed.
Pay
Expected pay for this position is $31.19 - $36.69/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is a salaried position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1 year of experience working in Human Resources or a related professional office or setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail-oriented.
- General understanding of employment law in order to recognize potential risk.
Qualifications
- 2 years' experience working in a Human Resource department to gain knowledge of effective employee relations and retention (preferred).
- Working knowledge of relevant Human Capital Management system and HR Information Systems (preferred).
