Human Resources Director

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and company values
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, organizational development, and people strategy
• Lead recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives
• Oversee employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes
• Coach leaders on employee management, engagement, and development strategies
• Support leadership development, training initiatives, and organizational effectiveness programs
• Oversee payroll processes, compensation programs, and benefits administration to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance
• Manage workers’ compensation claims, return to work programs, and modified duty processes
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Maintain HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, reporting, and employment records
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to support business decisions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Reinforce a positive, respectful, and safety-focused workplace culture
• Partner with executive leadership as a key member of the Leadership Team to support overall business objectives
• Lead and develop the HR function while fostering a collaborative, service-oriented approach across the organization

Desired Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 10–12+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in employee relations, payroll oversight, compliance, and HR operations
• Proven ability to partner with senior leadership and influence business outcomes
• Experience leading HR teams and organizational initiatives
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
