Responsibilities

  • Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures
  • Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures
  • Payroll responsibilities
  • Conducting annual salary surveys
  • Monitoring and conducting bi-annual performance reviews
  • Performing benefits administration and analysis
  • Initiating and conducting recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads
  • Cultivating and maintaining internal work culture including overseeing and creating work events
  • Creating and revising job descriptions
  • Conducting new employee orientations
  • Overseeing exit interviews
  • Conducting disciplinary actions including write-ups and terminations
  • Maintaining department records and reports
  • Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts
  • Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures

Education, Experience, and Licensing

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience required
  • 2+ years in a Human Resources management role
  • Experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred
