Human Resources Coordinator
About the role
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the operations of Realterm’s Global Human Resources department. Key responsibilities include new employee orientations and onboarding, compliance reporting, record maintenance, recruitment coordination, and some benefits administration.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-employment process, to include reference checks and background screenings;
- Provide HR onboarding for new employees by ensuring completion of new hire paperwork and assisting with onboarding presentations;
- Sets up and schedules interviews with candidates and Realterm team members/managers;
- Maintain employee records, both electronic and hard copies, to include uploading data into the online system and filing paper copies in the personnel file;
- Update HR database(s) with employee transaction information, to include new hires, separations/terminations, and demographic changes;
- Participate in the HR side of Realterm’s payroll process to include processing status updates, salary changes, address changes, and benefit changes in the HRIS database within prescribed deadlines;
- Process employee requests and verifications of employment;
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Able to handle sensitive information confidentially;
- In-person attendance in our Annapolis office 5 days/week;
- Flexibility in working hours either before or after core business hours.
Qualifications
- Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel);
- Scheduling experience;
- HRIS experience; Dayforce experience desirable;
- Bachelor’s degree and/or work equivalent;
- Minimum of two years prior HR or recruitment experience;
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.

- Proficiency in HRIS systems.

Pay
Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
