Human Resources Coordinator
About the role
We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to provide operational and administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee changes, HR systems, benefits administration, leave documentation, and offboarding. Working closely with the Human Resources Manager and HR team, this role helps ensure HR processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and consistently while providing responsive support to employees and managers. Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee lifecycle administration, including recruitment, onboarding, employment changes, leave administration, and offboarding activities while ensuring consistency and compliance with established processes.
- Maintain accurate employee information within Dayforce, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational and regional legislation.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job requisition reviews and approvals, job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications, reference checks, pre-employment requirements, and employment offer letters.
- Support benefits administration, training records, professional licensing requirements, and compliance tracking.
- Assist with annual performance review administration, including tracking completion and coordinating communications.
- Provide administrative support for HR projects, system updates, organizational initiatives, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager and team, Payroll, and employees to deliver effective HR services.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in Human Resources, Human Resources Administration, recruitment coordination, or a related role.
- Working knowledge of Human Resources processes, employee lifecycle administration, recruitment coordination, and HR documentation practices.
- Basic understanding of employment legislation and workplace compliance requirements.
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements and the importance of accurate employee records management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (Dayforce is an asset) and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Working toward or holding a recognized Human Resources professional designation (e.g., CPHR, CHRP, SHRM-CP) is considered an asset.

Pay
The hiring base salary range for this Human Resources Coordinator position is $45,000 - $60,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, internal equity, and skills.
