About the role
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator supports the HR department's operations by assisting with various HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, and record-keeping. This role acts as a resource for employees, providing information and support related to HR policies, procedures, and processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for payroll processing, including data entry, report generation, time sheet adjustments, and act as a backup for the Payroll Manager
- Answer employee questions, address concerns, and provide general HR support
- Provide information to employees about benefits and pay questions
- Assist with the onboarding process; ensure all necessary documents are processed and entered in the HRIS system
- Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations
- Assist employees with the completion of forms, including but not limited to, STD/LTD forms
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HRIS data
- Ensure HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, such as scheduling meetings, managing files, and preparing reports
- Manage temp requests including liaising with staffing agencies, handling timecards, invoices, requests, and cancellations
- Proactively discuss process improvement ideas and solutions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma required; prefer diploma or degree in Human Resources
- 2+ years of related experience
- Payroll experience preferred
- Proficiency in HR software and systems
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Schedule
- Hours: 10:00am - 7:00pm CST (9:00am - 6:00pm MST - 8:00am - 5:00pm PST)
- Location: Hybrid (El Paso, TX; Apache Junction, AZ; Dallas, TX)
Pay
Hourly Rate Range: $25.05 - $29.47
