About the role

The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator supports the HR department's operations by assisting with various HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, and record-keeping. This role acts as a resource for employees, providing information and support related to HR policies, procedures, and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for payroll processing, including data entry, report generation, time sheet adjustments, and act as a backup for the Payroll Manager
  • Answer employee questions, address concerns, and provide general HR support
  • Provide information to employees about benefits and pay questions
  • Assist with the onboarding process; ensure all necessary documents are processed and entered in the HRIS system
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations
  • Assist employees with the completion of forms, including but not limited to, STD/LTD forms
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HRIS data
  • Ensure HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, such as scheduling meetings, managing files, and preparing reports
  • Manage temp requests including liaising with staffing agencies, handling timecards, invoices, requests, and cancellations
  • Proactively discuss process improvement ideas and solutions
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; prefer diploma or degree in Human Resources
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Payroll experience preferred
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Schedule

  • Hours: 10:00am - 7:00pm CST (9:00am - 6:00pm MST - 8:00am - 5:00pm PST)
  • Location: Hybrid (El Paso, TX; Apache Junction, AZ; Dallas, TX)

Pay

Hourly Rate Range: $25.05 - $29.47
