Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

The Human Resources Coordinator position offers an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government, or military environments to a 3M career. You will collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world, making an impact by coordinating HR processes and providing guidance to employees.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accurate and timely administration of complex and confidential information related to compensation, benefits, performance, and other HR areas
• Communicate tactfully and professionally at all levels, handling sensitive information with discretion
• Provide guidance and support to employees and management, conducting orientations and training, and organizing employee engagement activities
• Influence the enforcement and adherence to policies, exercising independent judgment within guidelines

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Three (3) combined years of experience in human resources, administrative support, or clerical roles in a private, public, government, or military setting
• Possession of expertise or education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Advanced experience in HR functions
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information and resolve employee issues

Qualifications

• Experience using HR systems, including Workday
• Advanced experience in the HR function
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information
• Ability and willingness to resolve employee issues and exercise judgement to elevate when necessary

Work location

This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work in Hutchinson, MN.

Pay & Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is $59,455 - $72,668, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
