About the role

The HR Business Partner is a key member of the HR team, supporting operations nationwide to ensure the right talent is in place to drive business growth, retention, and sales success. Partnering with the leadership team, this role focuses on HR strategy development, employee relations, talent management, and execution of key people initiatives. The HRBP acts as a trusted advisor, linking HR and business objectives to deliver impactful solutions while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex employee relations cases and provide solutions that minimize risk and ensure compliance across multiple states.
  • Develop and execute strategies for talent acquisition, retention, development, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to design and implement HR strategies aligned with division goals.
  • Partner with operational and sales teams to support business growth through effective workforce planning.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with a preference for knowledge of California employment law.
  • Promote inclusive hiring, promotions, and talent management processes.
  • Lead HR-related projects and change initiatives within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
  • Effectively collaborate with internal partners, stakeholders, and departments inside our organization to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • PHR/SPHR certification or HR Master's preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a multi-site, multi-state environment
  • Union experience preferred
  • Strong background in employee relations and talent management
  • Operations experience a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
