Human Resources Assistant - Part Time

About the role

The Human Resources Assistant performs a variety of clerical, administrative, and data entry duties in support of the Human Resources Department. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Director and works under direct supervision, referring complex issues to higher-level HR staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain employee files and records
• Process HR-related paperwork and transactions
• Track employee data
• Schedule interviews and orientations
• Assist with onboarding activities
• Provide general administrative support
• Maintain accurate HR databases
• Compile reports
• Monitor compliance-related documentation
• Respond to routine employee inquiries while ensuring confidentiality of employee information

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• One (1) year of experience in a Human Resources-related field preferred
• Hospital Human Resources experience preferred
• Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems preferred
• Typically requires 0–2 years of related experience
• Possesses beginning to working knowledge of human resources functions and practices
