About the Company

Foremost Farms USA is one of the largest dairy cooperatives in the United States, representing hundreds of Midwest dairy farmer members across seven states. The company produces about 500 million pounds of cheese and 50 million pounds of butter each year in plants located in Wisconsin and Michigan, with headquarters in Middleton (Madison), Wisconsin.

About the Role

The Human Resources Analytics Internship (Summer 2027) is a non‑exempt, full‑time internship (Monday‑Friday, day shift) offering $20.00 per hour. Interns will work on strategic HR data projects, collaborating with experienced professionals and presenting findings to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize HR data and reports.
• Identify trends and insights related to hiring, retention, engagement, and employee development.
• Support talent reviews, succession planning, and workforce planning activities.
• Create dashboards, charts, presentations, and summaries to communicate HR data and key findings.
• Support reporting on the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Willingness to travel to Foremost plant locations.
• Availability to work from early June 2027 through early to mid‑August 2027.
• Based near the Middleton, WI headquarters.

Preferred Requirements

• Junior or senior class standing.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Coursework or project experience involving statistics, research methods, analytics, or data management.
• Familiarity with HR systems, reporting tools, or databases.
• Experience analyzing and presenting data findings.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, day shift, from early June 2027 through early to mid‑August 2027.
